Alaska On My Mind Earrings (rectangle shape)
Description
While my Mom's family is native from the Aleutian Islands, I grew up in California. When making jewelry my thoughts are often about the culture up in the great Northwest. The solid shapes and dark colors of the Alaska tribal art inspires me. The patterns in these earrings are made by making a cane (cylinder shape) with polymer clay. When sliced, the pattern is nearly identical each time. Shapes are curved from the side for a pretty shaped piece.
